Ohio State Preview

Will Ohio State bounce back this year and make their way back to the CFP? I think that is a definite yes! I know the Buckeyes have a lot of question marks. How will Ryan Day take over for the legendary Urban Meyer? Can Justin Fields live up to the hype? Is Chase Young the second coming of Nick Bosa or even better? Will the defense reinvent themselves after a terrible year and some new coaches at the helm? These are all legitimate questions to ask and these are all questions that all of the analysts bring to mind in a frenzy. The answer to these questions would simply be, as Aaron Rodgers says, R-E-L-A-X. Everybody relax. Ohio State is a storied school that people tend to forget about. Just a few years ago The Buckeyes (yes I said “The”) won the inaugural College Football Playoff National Championship against Oregon in which they had to beat Alabama to get there… and oh yeah not to mention, we were down to our 3rd string quarterback. Ohio State has proven time and time again that we are the definition of the “next man up mentality” and the QB/Coach combo in Justin Fields and Ryan Day will be no different. The defense here at DBU literally cannot get any worse than last year and our defensive line play as a whole may be amongst the best in the country. Year in and year out, we remain a top school in the nation and we reload with talent in the recruiting process. Whether we are up there with the Alabama’s and Clemson’s of the world, remains to be seen, but one thing I can tell you, is you can count on the Buckeyes to hold there own. I see them finishing the season with another Big Ten title and a trip to the CFP.
